Midway Ice Castles
This. Is. So. Cool. Ice castles is an award winning frozen attraction using hundreds of thousands of icicles hand-placed by professional ice artists. The castles include LED lit sculptures of thrones and tunnels, slides and fountains. Magical!

Woodward Park City
Woodward is another winter playground. They offer lift-served skier/snowboard zones, a revamped tubing hill and a 66,000 square-foot indoor facility complete with ramps, foam pits, trampolines, spring boards, a digital media lab, and concrete zones for wheels. They also have a bar/cafe and lodge-style eats so parents may want also want to hang out and watch.

Nordic Skiing
You can cross-country ski or skate ski through White Pine. They’ll rent you all the gear and give you lessons if you need them. Every morning they groom the 3k and 5k tracks just outside the Nordic Center. They also groom a longer track around the McPolin Barn, but you’ll need real skill to tackle the butt- thigh-lung-burner trail at the Barn.

Biatholon
Channel your inner Olympian at Soldier Hollow’s Biathlon program — ski, snowshoe, or hike depending on the season, then try precision shooting with .22 rifles on a competition-grade range. Options range from the Silver (75 min) to Gold (120 min) experiences, both fun, challenging, and very doable even if you’ve never shot before.

Let Park City Peaks show you the snowmobiling ropes on a guided adventure on Utah's largest private ranch. The tours are scenic and super fun.

Homestead Crater
Warm your bones in this 10,000-year-old crater where the water stays a comfortable 96 degrees. Soak and float or snorkel in these blue waters fed by a geothermal spring with reputed healing properties.

Snowshoeing
If you don’t want to adventure alone, talk to the guys at White Pine Nordic Center about doing a guided snowshoe outing in the beautiful Uintah Mountains. The beauty of snowshoeing is that the learning curve is fast and gentle.

Park City Yoga Adventures
Julia Geisler, an expert yogi and outdoors woman, will take you on an adventure that concludes yoga. She has exclusive rights to hike and snowshoe at Blue Sky Ranch just outside but she’ll take you on any trail. She’s also got exclusive rights to paddle board yoga inside Homestead Crater.There’s a reason this company has been written about in The New York Times, Forbes, and USA Today. Do it!

Fat Tire Biking
Snow doesn’t mean you have to stop biking, it just means you need a fat tire bike! Head to White Pine Touring to rent a fat tire bike and take a guided ride through Park City’s most beautiful snowy trails.

Cat + Heli Skiing
If you want fresh tracks, call Park City Powder Cats & Heli Ski. These guys have been in the off-resort ski business a long time and have it totally dialed in.

Park City Museum
Excellent exhibits on our town’s mining past and the early days of skiing here. Kids love the hands-on exhibits. If you’re a history buff, be sure to take the walking tour.

Solider Hollow
Soldier Hollow hosted all Nordic skiing, including Nordic Combined, and Biathlon competitions during the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. It’s a beautiful facility with tubing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and even your own Biathlon Experience! Where else can you get that? Fun for the whole family.ion goes here

Alpine Coaster
Thrill + chill combo! This winter alpine coaster ride gives you winding, sled-style fun down the mountain — curves, dips, and views. It’s such a fun break from the slopes when you just want a different kind of rush.

Utah Olympic Park
UOP hosted the 2002 Olympic events of ski jumping, skeleton, bobsled, and luge. Take the guided tour and check out the interesting Olympic museum upstairs. Everyone loves it. And then if you’re feeling brave, take an exhilarating ride on your own bobsled or luge. An unforgettable experience!

The base area of Park City Mountain Resort has outdoor skating, while the Park City Ice Arena has indoor skating.

Swiss bob
For those willing to work for the downhill, grab a handheld Swiss bob and high roughing a mile and 800 feet vertical up Iron Mountain Trail and slide the entire way down!

New List Item
Located about a 45-minute drive away in Provo Canyon, it is worth the drive! They’ve got ski runs, the original Butch Cassidy Owl Bar, two yummy restaurants and a yummy country store. They also offer night skiing, snowshoeing and a two-mile-long ZIP LINE! This spot is so incredible charming - streams running through the property and unbelievable mountain views.

High West Distillery
(Not the restaurant in Old Town) Get tours of High West’s whiskey-making facility out at Blue Sky Ranch. The tour is free, but you have to put down some bones for the optional whiskey tasting afterwards. Make a reservation.

If activities are more your thing...the Lodge at Blue Sky Ranch offers seasonal outdoor activities set in a glorious location with truly luxury amenities. Spring and summer are focused on fishing, biking, hiking, horseback riding, clay shooting, while winter offers heli skiing, cross country skiing, and snow shoeing. Fly Fishing
Chanel your inner Brad Pitt in A River Runs Through It and get out on one of Utah’s prime trout-fishing streams. Hire a guide through Trout Bum, our favorite local fishing guide service. They know all the good secret spots (shhh).

Mountain Biking
Park City has over 450 miles of trails (WOW)! The best way to get into mountain biking (or if you just want a locals' knowledge) is to ride with a passionate guide from White Pine Touring. Every tour is tailored specifically to your group and your riding ambitions.

Golf
Park City may not be known for golfing, but there are plenty of beautiful places to tee off (and the cool dry breezes and blue-sky days sure do help). Enjoy Park City’s spectacular public golf courses or play the alpine greens and fairways in Park City and Heber Valley, including Park City Golf Club, Canyons Golf Course, Crater Springs Golf Course, Wasatch Mountain Golf Course, Soldier Hollow Golf Club, and Mountain Dell Golf Course.

Utah Olympic Park
Built for the Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Winter Games, this 400- acre venue houses one of only four sliding tracks in North America, six Nordic ski jumps, a museum, and a multitude of adventure activities. In the summer you can get a thrill with extreme tubing, ziplines (choose extreme or freestyle!), a discovery course, and a Nordic chairlift. Select days in the summer they have a GIANT water slide!

Woodward Park City
Woodward just dropped into Park City and kids are pumped! They offer camps and drop in days with professional coaches for kids interested in Mountain Biking, Skateboarding, BMX, Scooter, Digital Media, Cheer, or just jumping into foam pits. They also have food and a bar so parents may want to hang out too and "supervise."

Jordanelle
When you want to cool off, head to Jordanelle Reservoir for water fun. You can reserve a cabana and grill or rent a kayak, jet ski, or boat while enjoying this water and mountain views!

Provo Float
Have a blast tubing down the Provo River on custom-made, heavy-duty tubes. This 90-120 minute water adventure is strenuous and requires decent swimming skills and good physical shape. Great for high school and college age kids, or anyone up for taking on the river!

Weber Float
Round up the troops for a summer adventure (but not TOO adventurous). Float the Weber River with Barefoot Tubing who make this float trip super easy by providing you with a tube, life jacket, and a shuttle you to and from the river. A fun, easy 2-hour float!
