Outdoor Dining

Set against sweeping views of the Heber Valley, Back 40 is a favorite for good food, good drinks, and a true taste of local. Everything is sourced close to home — even the water, drawn from their own 200-ft artesian well. Good Tip: It’s always an uh-mazing experience here, especially with a big group.

Inside Hotel Park City, Bandannas is a go-to for hot breakfasts and hearty lunches that never miss. The food is always spot-on, and the patio overlooking the golf course hills makes it even better. Good Tip: You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu — it’s all that good.

So much more than a sushi bar — Blind Dog doubles as a mountain “beach.” Dine on the covered patio with mountain views while kids (and well-behaved dogs) play in the sandy lot. Good Tip: Don’t miss happy hour from 4–6PM (hello, $1 oysters on Buck-A-Shuck).

The BEST place to meet for lunch or coffee on a sunny day — the patio overlooks the lake where ducks drift by and paddleboarders pass. It’s perfect for refueling after a Deer Valley hike or turning an afternoon outing into après with a glass of wine. Good Tip: Go for the tuna melt, turkey chili, or chicken salad — they’re all standouts — and stick around if there’s live music.

A true locals’ hangout, The Boneyard is known for burgers, ribs, and a solid lineup of apps, while its sister spot, The Wine Dive, serves up a totally different menu (you can order from both). Voted one of Park City’s top bars, it’s casual, lively, and always buzzing. Good Tip: Head straight to the upper deck patio — big views, plenty of tables, and the best place to post up for sunset.

My favorite! At the Stein Eriksen Lodge, Troll Hallen is my go-to for al fresco Deer Valley lunches. The menu is casual yet elevated (this is Deer Valley, after all) and the seasonal cocktails pair perfectly with the ah-mazing mountain views. Good Tip: Grab a patio table, nothing beats it on a bluebird day!

Right on Main Street, Café Terigo is the kind of place where lunch or dinner feels elevated — elegant but not stuffy. The patio seating is dreamy, especially when the light hits just right, and perfect for people-watching or unwinding after a day outdoors. Good Tip: Try to snag a patio table; it’s one of the most charming outdoor spots in town.

This is the spot when you want fresh + flavorful food any time of day. Breakfast, lunch, dinner—they do it all, and they do it well. From açaí bowls and breakfast burritos to halibut tacos and burgers, they’ve got variety and quality. They also offer grab-and-go items and full catering (perfect for family dinners or events). Open seating means just swing by, get cozy, and enjoy.  Good Tip: Try to go when the patio is open—makes the meal taste even better. Don’t miss the Salt Box Salad or the Rio-açaí style bowl; they do those so well.

Voted Best View in Park City, Silver Star’s patio is always a win on a sunny day. It’s the perfect stop mid-hike or bike — Armstrong Trail pairs especially well with breakfast, lunch, or a cold beer here. Good Tip: Come summer, bring your pup, grab a patio table, and stick around for live music — it’s local favorite energy at its best.

Enjoy some fresh mountain air and amazing views at The St. Regis. After you ride the funicular (it's FUN) up the side of the mountain, sit on the Mountain Terrace to enjoy fine cuisine and signature cocktails. Try the famous 7452 Mary (that's the elevation!) and stay for the nightly champagne sabering ritual by the fire garden at sunset!

Craving a family meal out without the Main Street bustle? Windy Ridge is your cozy escape. Located off Iron Horse Drive, this casual eatery has breakfast, lunch, and dinner options that are warm, satisfying, and nicely priced. Good Tip: Go for dinner on a weekday to avoid crowds and enjoy the relaxed vibe — their comfort classics totally deliver.

Sure, it’s a classic steakhouse in any city, but the Park City location ups the game with a patio overlooking the golf course and mountains. The happy hour here is one of the best — great prices, a friendly crowd, and a bartender who seems to know everyone’s name. Good Tip: Sit outside if you can, but don’t skip happy hour at the bar, it’s where the locals gather.
