But First, Breakfast + Coffee
Lower Main’s funky, literary café is a locals’ staple for coffee, tea, and a laid-back lunch. With Millcreek coffee, 70+ loose-leaf teas, and shelves of books and treasures, it’s the perfect spot to linger. Good Tip: Order the bagel with cream cheese, tomato, and salt — simple, but so good.
Quick, casual, and right on the lake — this spot serves up the same quality food Deer Valley is famous for. I’m obsessed with the BLT, tuna melt, chicken salad sandwich, and chili (living up the street is dangerous). Good Tip: Take home frozen entrées, gourmet groceries, and tubs of cookie dough — trust me on that one.
This Aussie-owned café brings big flavor to breakfast and brunch — from the Moroccan-inspired shakshouka to fluffy pancakes, perfectly done eggs, and the ever-popular avocado toast. I’m partial to the açaí bowl and house-made granola, especially with a flat white on the side. Good Tip: It’s a breakfast must, so go early — the line builds fast.
With a motto like Food. Coffee. People. you know breakfast here is going to be good. The menu is small but mighty — think scrambled eggs with veggies, house banana bread, and perfectly brewed coffee (their flat white is the real deal). Right by the Town Lift, it’s as convenient as it is delicious. Good Tip: Pair breakfast with one of their fresh juices or wellness shots
The charm! Part flower shop, part café, this spot is pure joy. Pick up fresh blooms, a unique gift, and a latte while you’re at it — the vibe alone will brighten your day. Good Tip: Don’t skip the breakfast burritos for a quick (and surprisingly delicious) bite with your coffee.
My newest addiction — healthy eating that’s actually flavorful. Think protein-packed Shakeouts, açaí and pitaya bowls, and gourmet toasts that hit the spot. I’m partial to the Rio açaí bowl, but you really can’t go wrong. Good Tip: Located in Kimball Junction, it’s the perfect quick stop when you’re running errands and need something fresh and fast.
Riverhorse’s little sister spot nails quick breakfast, lunch, and takeout — and trust me, the food here tastes just as good at home as it does on-site (rare in Park City). I’m obsessed with the açaí bowl, halibut tacos big enough to share, the Mediterranean lamb wrap, and the seared Scottish salmon. Good Tip: Stock up for a picnic or order catering — Salt Box has the variety to keep you fed and happy for days.
My go-to drive-up coffee stop — pull up to the cute kiosk, order from your car, and get way better than your average grab-and-go. The baristas can nail even the most complicated orders, plus they’ve got breakfast burritos, gluten-free muffins, and shaved ice in the summer. Good Tip: It’s the perfect first stop before a mountain adventure (or showing clients around town, like I do).
